Manhattan

Manhattan is easily accessible from both the Allegria Hotel and The Rockaway Hotel. It is about a 50 minute train ride or there is a ferry option from the Rockaway Hotel area.

From Allegria: LIRR line at Long Beach Station to either Penn Station (closer to west village) or Grand Central (closer to central park/ upper east side) depending on where in Manhattan you are going.

*Tip: The "MTA Train Time" app is very helpful for navigating the train system! You can also buy tickets on this app

Ferry Information: Takes off .2 miles from The Rockaway Hotel. The exact address is: 11414 Beach Channel Dr, Rockaway Park, NY 11694. It is a 57 minute ride and drops you off in lower Manhattan near Wall Street (Pier 11 specifically).

Long Beach Boardwalk/ Beach

The Long Beach Boardwalk is right off the Allegria Hotel and is a great place to go for a walk right along the beach.

If you want to spend time on the Beach the easiest access is right out from the Allegria Hotel on National Blvd. There is a chair rental company "Beach Comfort" that you are able to reserve chairs/ umbrellas with if you wish to do so.
